As our human race continues to multiply, find more and more ways to stretch out our human life we have begun to see the problems of over population of the planet we have to call our own. Up until now we have not had such a problem for many factors one might argue but I have come up with a theory that is awful to think about as well as seemingly plausible as to part of our population explosion.
As of 1975 we have not seen any mass population deaths in the tens of millions. Up until then we had consecutive mass deaths because of wars, famine and disease. with the advance in technology, the advance in diplomatic relations world wide and the awareness that we seemed to have gained that we need to prolong the human life for as long as possible we have over crowded the planet.
It is not my opinion that such deaths are a positive thing, not by any stretch of the imagination, just a theory that it might be a necessary evil of the laws of nature. With every mass extinction provides the necessary room and ability for the next generations growth and thriving. If history is our best predictor of future behavior than wouldn’t it just be the logical conclusion that this is a part of the living and dying process for us as a species?
Catastrophic and horrible to our human senses is the theory that we must be rid of some to make room for the future. not by race or religion, perhaps natural disaster, but with the laws of natural selection now seemingly no longer at play, as we continue to find more and more cures, more and more solutions to stay alive... where do we put all these living beings? The fact is we are running out of room and resources now and no one seems to be doing too much too fast about it.
Can we really continue to cure the sick, the ailing, the aging, stop all world war and expect to all live? How would this work? Where do we get the fuel resources? Where do we get the food, the water, the land and where will we dispose of the ever mounting human waste and garbage? Will it become a world where only those with means will survive?

At a certain point room for humans and animals will no longer be a luxury we can afford, the sea life will die off from various causes ranging from environmental exposures to human caused over fishing, we are and will slowly kill the planet which sustains us life. With no trees, no sea life, no land animals, no room, no more resources to exploit what will become of the humans? The fact is common sense tells us that if we have a glass of water and it is full, the only way to add more water is to remove some of the existing water or to over flow the glass.
I realize this rambling won’t change the world, it probably won’t even get much notice or attention. I just really felt the need to say it anyways.
